The alarm clock makes for a different kind of day.

Today I'm off to the campus of Oakland University for career counseling. I went to college there right out of high school. Ok, I went to classes there. Ok, I went to some of my classes. Didn't graduate from OU but spent many years on the campus learning.
They have free career counseling and I will take anything free.

So the computer wants me to be either a horticulturist, landscaper, an engineer (give me a break) or an optician. These are the top four choices. I pick...... professional napper.

Hmmmm.....I'm wondering what type of questions did you answer that resulted in the result "optician".

A collection of my thoughts, rants and pictures since November 22, 2008.

During the first year of my blog it was called "Something to say… everyday." That got just a bit tedious, but what else does someone unemployed have to do. The second year of my blog started out sporadic with a post whenever I got around to it but I felt I needed some kind of order. 2010 brought order when I started "A picture a week… every week" loosely following the Flickr group "52.5 of Twenty Ten." By the end of 2011 I was back in the work force so a daily thing wouldn't have worked anyway. For 2011 I decided to actually JOIN the Flickr group "52 of Twenty Eleven" and go by their rules. It was a success with 52 out of 52 pictures posted! Same goes for "52 of 2012!" Now on to "52 in 2013." OF COURSE I might post witty bits of wisdom here and there outside the photo project from time to time. (BTW: clicking on any pic will either show a larger view or go to the Flickr page of that pic.)
