My own private Idaho

It was spud harvest day today and I found that your spuds should be sown earlier than Memorial Day-ish. They sprouted near the end of June (click for post) and were in full green growth by the end of July (click for post). But today I found the spuds were sparse.
Still YUMMY though.

  1. Live and learn! Here is my favorite soup recipe. Boil potatos & peel. In fry pan, brown bacon & onion, then drain. In potato pan, mash potatoes, add bacon & onion & then add milk to desired soupy consistency. After it warms through, add shredded cheddar cheese till melted. It's the best! Garnish with sour cream & green onions if desired.

You should be able to get a bowl out of that harvest.
