Honestly, you shouldn't store bananas with other fruit. That's one of the reasons you see those hanging things for them. The gasses they let off when ripening make other fruit ripen too quickly. It's nice to shove them in a paper bag with an avocado and stick it on the counter so you can make guac the next day, but to force a poor avocado to LIVE next to the smelly suckers? mean. Simply mean. I don't blame your avocado for revolting.
